How do I get dot screened effect for B&W copy legibility? ACAD screen CTB
files look right on screen, but use color mixes, not dot dithering on print
(dithering is turned on in CTB). I tried posting at the HP HTTP NG site, but
I get a 404 whenever I try to post (yes, logged on). Anyone know if HP has a
    NTTP NG yet?

Your Hp800 driver may have a halftone adjustment in the color panel
(sorry no hp800 here) scatter, pattern, cluster. Also in the CTB file
you can adjust the screening value to your desired intensity. We start
with a few of the 250-series colors (actually screens) and modify them
as needed to match our standard as each device outputs slightly deferent.

Not is software, that I can find.
Tried that, BUT it appears to print different color mixes, NOT dots. I'll
try it in monochrome-maybe that'll do it.

Never mind, I figured it out-just not intuitive.
