hp650c cutter issues-

helped a contractor set up a used 650c- seems to work fine other than the
cutter-

when printing it will go for an inch or so- then pause and cut a quarter of
an inch off of the leading edge of the sheet- then resume printing- until
the end of the sheet- then it does not cut? i had to use the form feed/cut
button- now it works fine when doing the demo plots and such but even
sending the test print from windows does it..

any thoughts?

newer compaq cpu... and it is being run off of a usb port adapter...

"Disable automatic cutter" is enabled under plotter options?

 

alas no... i have tried it both ways

after some research in other venues i t seems others have had the same
issue- and it realted to expanded margins and in reality it will run that
way- so i am now just looking for how to address that-

they say it will run just fine- other that having to pull the 1/4" strands
out every now and then-

the client is also using visual CADD- (newer version of generi cadd) which
is throwing another variable into the mix- been hard to fine info on that
one- it had the ability to print to windows print devices- or to plot to a
plotter- i think a pen plotter hold over-
