HP450C Plot job becomes deleted in Print Queue dialog Box. Help! Why!

    running WIN2k (main) connected to HPDesignJet450C on LPT1.
    hpltdrv1.dll driver, version 4.40.03.
    while trying to send test print, image appears with file size
    in queue and then becomes deleted. Doesn't get set to plotter.
    Even tried to copy file to lpt1 in DOS and still no go.
    Not aware of any changes to computer. Just a wierd Monday morning occurance.
    Plotter works. Temp have it hooked to a laptop with same cable.
    Here driver version is 4.64. I really don't thing its a driver issue,
    but windows. Tried starting/stopping print service in admin tools and no go.
    Have copied HP driver files off laptop to (main) via dos commands into
    the \spool\drivers\w32x86\2 folder in WINNT. and still no go.
    Help! any suggestions?
