Hp1220c & XP & Customer paper sizes

I have always been able to print custom sizes on my HP1220 e.g. 13" by 24"
    ok.
I recently upgraded to Xp and had to reinstall everything.
Now the add custom page sizes tab is grayed out
and does not exist in the custom properties either (as diredced by the
    hint).

    I have XPSP2 & 2002+SP1
I vaguely remeber that I installed printer fixes historically
but can find no such downloads on the site now.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks

Not quite sure I understand your response.

I was not trying to make any point,

Just hoping that someone had worked out a solution to this.

E.g. set up additional pre-defined paper sizes or something?

The HP site shows all the drivers as being very old

And it seems unlikely to me that they will produce new fixes.

So it seems the only hope is a workaround from someone more knowledgeable
    than me.

I have no leverage on HP.

I note that AutoDesk is silent on this.

The HP1220 is a common and useful printer for this package.

One would thing that someone at AutoDesk would have a workaround.

    Where are you Mr/Ms Autodesk?
