HP120 puts too much ink on plots

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by alan mulhearn, Aug 9, 2004.

  1. Plotting using a HP120 saturates paper plos with too much ink. Is ther a
setting somwhere to reduce the amount of ink used. I have a plot (CTB) file
with reduce line thicknesses but even 0.00 line thicknesses plot thicker
    (say 0.25mm).

  2. Hi Alan,

A couple of things you can try.

Check what paper type your using. If your set to say Glossy but using plain
paper that will saturate the paper.

You can set to Normal or Fast for the quality to see if that helps as well.

You will find both of these settings in the Basic Setup tab of the HP system
    driver.

    Hope this helps.

    settings in the CTB file.
    Thanks for the reply

  4. No - just a acad.ctb saved as my.ctb file.
