We have office standard borders for plots to our HP1050c and HP5000n.

This is drawn with a true outer border at the sheet size and smaller interior drawing limits border within the plotter's margins.

So, a 24x36 rectangle is drawn on the DEFPOINTS layer. Then a 23x34 rectangle is drawn on a printable layer away from the edges of the larger rectangle. In both the Layout view and the Plot Preview everything looks fine, but than when we plot the output is pushed off the sheet or the margins are not what we expected.

We have downloaded all the latest HP Drivers, we are running ACAD 2004 on WinXP. The typical thing is when we were running ACAD 2000 on WinNT everything was fine.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

If you make a view (plot) of your defpoints rectangle and plot it to a view
    (plot) it should work fine.

We have just upgraded to XP with BS2004 and we are having problems setting margins with our 1050C Plotter. In Windows 2000 we were allowed to adjust our margins but in XP I have not been able to. How did you solve you're problem

    Thanks
