I have a HP Designjet 1050c at the office. Is there anyway to set nesting
from a computer instead of from the plotter
control pad? The office has a vpn and I plot remotely from home (plot at the
office by sending to networked plotter).

When I send 1/2 sized plots from home, I would like to turn on nesting and
then turn it off when I am done.
The office staff is inexperienced with plotters and cannot be counted on to
    turn on and off nesting.

  2. Nesting can only be turned on/off on the front panel. There is a PJL
command for nesting, but the 1050 doesn't listen to it.
