I I have been having some trouble printing lately. From reading the posts in this group, I belive the problems should be solved by adding the correct drivers from HP.

Are the drivers on the 2005 CD the most recent or should I go to the HP web site to download the most recent?

I have a Design Jet 800 and an Inkjet cp 1700.

    Thank You,
    don

The drivers on www.hp.com will always be the most current available.

  3. Hi Don,

Like Chip said it's always a good idea to check the WEB. Here is a more
direct link to getting drivers for the DesignJet. At this point I think the
drivers are still the same version as what is on the WEB, so you just check
the version number. If it's the same you can go with the CD.

For your CP 1700 that is not an optimized driver so it won't be on the CD.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks Chip & Bud.

I updated the driver for my 800, seems to have solved the issues.

As far as the CP 1700, the problem is when I try to print multiple copies from Publish. The first time I send the job only one prints no matter how many copies I wanted. The second time I get the number of copies I want.

    Thanks for the replies,
    don
