I am planning to buy an HP DesignJet 130 printer. I would like some comments
regarding this printer. It will be used in an home office, with low usage.
Because of the low usage, what would be the effect on the ink cartridges?
    Thanks, Bob

The 130 is great for smaller sheets. It produces good quality color and its nice that it can use a roll. I think its a great plotter for the money.
It uses ink tanks, the print heads are on the carraige. The tanks should not dry up but you will want to run the cleaning procedure after a month of disuse so that the heads to clog with dried ink.

Thanks for your reply, you stated smaller sheets. The printer can print up
to 24"x36' sheets. are you stating, that it does not print will on larger
sheets? roll printing is an option for the 130, standard for the 130NR ,
    about $300.00 addition. thanks, Bob
