HP Design Jet 700 & LT 2004

    I am looking at upgrading from LT 2000 to LT 2004. I envisage problems
    plotting to my HP design jet 700, as I have experienced problems in the past
    when I bought a new machine with Windows 2000 i.e plotting is now slower,
    and I had to set it to "process in computer" in order for the machine to not
    crash.
    HP seem to consider the DJ 700 as a dinosaur as they don't offer updated
    drivers or support for the beast.

    I'm not in a position to get rid of it for a while, so does anyone know of
    any further problems that I may encounter if I upgrade my LT to 2004, or am
    I being pessimistic?
