All of a sudden my HP 8500 color laser will not stop printing things in greyscale. It had been printing fine and then nothing but grayscale. I can't figure it out. Plot styles on my machine are fine and grayscale is not selected anywhere. Is there anyone who knows of this problem and has a suggestion on how to fix it. Thank You in advance if you do.

Is there a button on your printer that overrides your computer's settings?

  3. Does this problem occur only in AutoCAD or do you have this problem with
other windows applications (such as printing a web page or PDF)? Have you
tried this from other computers connected to the printer?

I'm not sure I'll have to check. I do not have an intimate knowledge of the printer itself.

It only does this from AutoCAD. It's weird. Everyone else in the office appears to be printing to the printer without a problem.

I have fixed the problem, for the time being I hope. I simply deleted the pc3 file from the Plotter Manager and re-added it using the wizard. I'm getting color again so maybe it was just a fluke occurence. However, if anybody knows the reason behind this happening I would love to hear it. Thanks again for the responses.
