our company just got a new plotter from hp650c to hp 1050c. i noticed using
the same pen setting, it comes out much darker. so i tried to lighten up
the pensetting but my lightest color won't get any lighter. is there a
reason? does anyone know the thinest pensetting possible on the plotter?
    any suggestion would help....

I just tried it but no luck.. any other suggestions? keep in mind i only
want to adjust the line weight, not the screening or color.. thanks for
    your input though...

  3. HP decided to make money with ink :). The 1050 produces a lot more ink than
other models. Go to "Color control" that you find on the "Options" tab of
the driver settings and move the "Lightness" slider to the left.
