How to write codes to watch the printing from composer window?

    Hello everyone,

Since someone print our schematics and take out of firm so that our design
is lost, so we have to control to control and watch printing. If you print
one file, it's simple to backup and log the record, but if you print
schematics from composer window, how should I watch and backup it?

I check the docus, find some command supplied by cadence such as
'cds2calcomp' or 'raptor', maybe a good way, but have not find more manuals.

Who have the same requirement and how to resolve it?

    Have a good day!

  2. Via the .cdsplotinit file you can set any command you like to queue the print
job. So you can always write a wrapper script which does the recording and then
    submits the job.

Or you can do this at a lower level in the print queue itself (I've done similar
scripting in the past to handle pseudo-printers, but I forget the details...)

For the first, look in the:

    <instdir>/doc/plot/plot.pdf

    manual.
