    Hi,

All what you can do in IC5141 is customizing the menus and meny Items.
You ca not customize the ADE canvas itself, you can't even resize it.
This is different in IC6 where you can do virtually anything.
So if you are using IC6 then please provide a detailed explanation of
you request. Do not waste your time with IC5141 otherwise.

    Cheers,
    Riad.

    Hi,Riad,
Tanks for your reply. In fact, I am using IC5141.I found it's hard
to add a list field to the ADE, and I also tried to build my own ADE
window using the same menus, but it's hard to build the links between
menu function and the list field. So I think it's impossible.
If I change to IC6, is it possible to add a list filed in the ADE
like the Analyse list field and Output list field ? It can't be better
    if you have some examples.

    Tanks,
    Garvin

Why are you trying to do this - i.e. what is your end goal?

Better would be to add a menu (which can be done via the menus files) which
brings up a form, rather than customizing the main window - that's not really a
    "supported" flow.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Hi Garvin,

Please answer my earlier question as to why you want to do to this. I don't
think adding fields onto the main ADE window is supported, and indeed it would
most likely break in future (as IC614 comes) because there is a change to how
the ADE window is created (it now has dockable assistants rather than being a
    straightforward window form).

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Hi Garvin,

Aplogies for the late answer, I'm very busy these days ...
I think I was not very clear in my first post. In IC6, there is more
freedom is resizing the ADE window and playing around with the
different simulation items, i.e. variables, outputs ... etc in the
canvas. Still only these predefined fileds are customizable as far as
I know. As I said before, all the 'user' stuff I have ever added into
ADE were made through the menus.
As per Andrew's suggestion, you better tell us what you are aiming for
so we could provide you with the best advice.

    Best Regards,
    Riad.
