How to use a menubar item, through VBA, when there is no drawing active?

    Well I think the subject says enough:
    How to use a menubar item, through or using VBA, when there is no
    drawing active?

  2. I want to use a macro (and place it under a button) that saves and closes
    the drawing and after closing gives me the oppertunity to select a new
    drawing to open.

    The menu that displays when there is no dwg open is hard coded in acad and
    is not accessible. You can't run any code to modify it, since there is no
    dwg open yet.

  4. Simple. Have the 'opportunity' present itself BEFORE the host drawing
    closes!
