We recently upgraded to Autocad 2004 mechanical (2d) from Autocad 2000
mechanical (2d). We have about 20 plot styles that we use for
different client drawings. When we pass the mouse cursor over the plot
style list and are about to select a plot style the listing the list
will scroll erratically to the bottom of the list if the mouse is not
perfectly centered in the list. This makes it very frustrating to
select a particular plot style. Is there some way to turn this
behavior off? I would like to be able to use just the mouse wheel or
drop down slider control to select from the list. This behavior is the
same in both versions od AutoCAD. Anyone else notice this?

    Thanks,
    Ed

Yes, I have seen this. Are you sure there are only about 20 CTB/STB files?

This is also present in the list of plotters. Selecting the item on
the bottom of the list is not possible directly because of the
autoscrolling. The work around is to manually scroll the list up a
notch using the scroll bar so that the item you want is no longer on
    the bottom.

I don't know of any setting to stop or slow down this feature.
