I just installed Adobe 6 prof on a win 2000 - Acad 2002 system. The Adobe
toolbar installs itself in the upper left hand corner. I've closed it , I
unloaded it - No matter what I do it always comes back. Aside from
deleting or renaming the PDFMAcad.arx file what can I do to keep the Adobe
menu but get rid of the toolbar?

    Thanks

  2. I don't have 6.0 installed anymore but you might be able to unload the menu
    after Adobe loads it.

    (command "menuunload" "adobe")

Where adobe is the name of the menugroup if that's what it's called. Use
the menuload command to see what they called it. Just shows how little they
know about AutoCAD. Both our program and our competitors allow you to pick
and choose if you want to install the menus and one would have thought that
Adobe would have checked out programs out first before they tried doing
    AutoCAD support

    For thoses interested...

I came across an alternate solution from the Adobe online discssion board
(sorry I didn't make note of the writers name). It was suggested to use the
"Windows uninstall" to remove the Autocad portion of Adobe 6. This way the
toolbars and menu are removed but I can still create a PDF via Autocads
normal plot dialog by selecting Adobe as the printer.
