how to select hidden identities

    I have a drawing with a hidden identities but I cannot selected them to
    dimension the part, How can I select the hidden lines for dimensioning?.

    Tools> Options> System Options> Display/Selection> Selection of Hidden
    Edges... somewhere on that page. This turns it on in part and assy files
    as well
