I used the VBA "map2globe and created a 3D globe.
    Take Australia for example:
It is made from a polyline, the outline is curved to fit the planet, I
can't figure out what entity to use to make a curved solid or surface
to be able to render or 'shademode' it.
    How can I do this?
    Thanks much.

    I think I have a way...
    make a 10'D sphere, SUBTRACT a 9'-11 3/4"sphere from it, now I have a
    shell.
PROJECT the continent outline to a flat plane and extrude it about an
    inch thick.
INTERFERE to make a curved solid.
    tada!
