How to include noise file in cadence schematic editor ?

    Hi Fellows:

    I am trying to include a noise file from measured data. The file is in
    the following format:

    100.00 2.54
    200.00 3.45
    ..
    ..
    ..
    ..


    The first column is FREQ and the second is Noise. I am unable to put
    this info into psin block. After putting all this there, the output
    does not show anything in the AC plot for the noise.

    Any suggestions ?

    Shakeel,

    Components such as port (use this rather than psin, since it is easier to use
    and more comprehensive) and vsource from analogLib have an option to enter
    a noise file.

    Corresponds to the "noisefile" parameter on the spectre port and vsource
    components.

    It's also possible to enter the frequency/value pairs on the form.

    Also, I assume you didn't mean the AC plot, but the noise plot...
