    Hello:

    Sorry for the trivial question...

    In the Layout tab, a frame is drawn around my drawing. This frame
    surrounds the (single) viewport I have. I would like to remove or hide
    this frame from the printed version, but so far I've had no luck. For
    example, when I select its color to be white, it prints in light
    gray...

    Can anyone please help?

    Thanks,

    Mayer

  2. Turn off its layer or put it on DEFPOINTS.

    <snip>

    ....sounds like your "frame" is the viewport border itself. If so, move the
    border to 'Defpoints' layer or any other non-plotting layer.

    Put the viewport on a no plot layer, or turn it off. If you have a
    seperate layer for your viewports, like I do, then it's easy to go to
    the layer properties, and tell acad not to plot that layer.

    Hy Mayer, create a new layer called viewport. Change the actual
    viewport layer to "viewport" now, all you do is turn off that viewprot.

    Good luck
