Hello everybody I encountered a problem. Can anyone helped me?

How to get the length of two points on the 3dmesh surface ? I mean the
length of two points (it¡¯s the NUBRBS curve length) on the NURBS surface
    that generated by command ¡°3dmesh¡±.

  2. You can't. It is an approximation, not the actual surface
in terms of its parametric definition.

If you are seriously working with parametric surfaces,
you may be using the wrong software.

    Thanks for your advice.
In fact I want to extend(develop) the "3dmesh" generated nurbs curve
    surface into 2D flat surface,
The method I used first needed the distance of the point on the NURBS
    surface.
And would you please do me a favor tell me is there any other method to
achieve that goal in AUTOCAD .Or if it can't make it in AUTOCAD would you
please tell me an alternative software that may do.
