I have installed Adobe Acrobat 6 Pro. There is no plot device listed for PDF writer. I tried to create a plotter however, it asks for an .hil file. I thought it would be pretty automated as it is in my other applications where I have PDF icons.

How to I set up my plot manager to create PDF drawings?

I also tried importing the file to Acrobat. Acrobat has an error message that says the file is from an application not on my computer. Although I did not create the file, it was sent to me. I can review and change in LT2004. What do I do next?

I'm still on Adobe 5.0 but 6.0 should be similar, did you install the
Distiller app on the Adobe CD?

When you install Acrobat you have to specifically install the 'PDF Writer'
printer. Just Distiller won't get you there. Beyond that, I can't say much.
We tried 6.0, it wanted to stick itself everywhere, and cutePDF does nearly
as good a job for free.
