I don't want this to pull up the help menu in acad. Just want it to do
    nothing.

    Thanks,
    Todd

    Todd -

As Tom suggested, do a search on the discussion groups. Here is
    how.

The discussion group search engine provides flexibility for
searching through existing message content. To search:

    1. Go to http://discussion.autodesk.com/

    2. Select a product (Example: AutoCAD)

    3. Type your keywords into the search box and click Search. Put
in "disable F1" without the "" and hit return. 85 previous
discussions on this topic will be listed.

Note: You can further refine your query by selecting a specific
discussion group from the dropdown provided. Your group choices
will vary in the drop down, based on where you have navigated on
    the discussion group site.

Search results are sorted by relevance (a complex query of all
relevant content based on your keywords and group choices).
Clicking on the message result will display the entire thread
(the series of messages and replies).

I bet you keep hitting it when you want to hit ESC....

I turned mine into a cancel just about like ESC.

I edited my menu in the ***ACCELERATORS section
    and entered...

    ["F1"]^c^c

This doesn't disable it but might work for you.
