How do I create a font?

    I would like to create a font to use for etching letters and numbers
    on out laser. I have created some letters and numbers and have saved
    them in a drawing. Each time I want to use them, I have to insert the
    drawing and move the entities around. I know there has to be a way to
    do this, I just don't know how.
