    Hi All,

I am a novice user to the CAD enviroment.I am developing a Software which takes the user requirements such as roof angle, roof shape etc and draw it.
For this purpose I used AutoCAD 2004 to draw each user requirement seperately.
How can combine each drawn user requirement to produce the entire roof structure including roof angle, roof shape etc.
Please advice me on this matter.

    Thanks in advance....

MY requirement is I need to perform this task. i.e I need to get user requirements such as roof angle, roof shape etc from C# OR Delphi program and send those information to the AutoCad enviroment. So it will draw the information passed from the program. Then I need to extract the drawn drawing in autocad to my program.

How can I do this? Will I be able to reference the autocad type library in C# or delphi. So i will be able to draw the 2d drawing in C# or delphi it self.

    Please help in this.............

    Thanks in advance

  4. The generality of your question makes it seem that you are
not very familiar with the programming tools that you're
    planning to use.

It's kind of like an apprentice carpenter asking 'how do I use
this hammer to build a 6 room house?'.

I'm afraid that you're going to need to learn to use the tools
before you can use them to build an AutoCAD application
    with them.

Yes, you can reference the AutoCAD type library from either
of the two environments you refer to.

from C# OR Delphi program and send those information to the AutoCad enviroment. So it will draw the information passed
from the program. Then I need to extract the drawn drawing in autocad to my program.
2d drawing in C# or delphi it self.

  5. Sorry, but I think you need to lessen your expectations. No one can help
you except tell you to look in the help file unless you are more
specific. "...All 2D and 3D..." is pretty much everything!
