    Hello.
I'm often drawing arrays of rafters and joists atop plates or beams. Is there a way to hide the lines below each arrayed object without having to trim and thereby change the line below?

You can hide segments of polylines. Double click on the polyline to go to
Edit Verticies mode use the slash pointer to grab the line and place a node
using intersection snap on each side of the rafter then select the segment
(still in Edit Verticies mode) and check Hide in the edit bar. Lines can be
converted to polylines using Trim Subdivide.

    Hello

Use Layers, and then turn them on and off with their states - Editable,
    background and Masked.

I have a roof drawing and quantities package for AutoSketch. Which country
    are you in. Oz maybe?
