    Why does SW2004 try to access the internet every I open SW help?

    Why does SW2004 try to access the internet every I open SW help?
    Do you have PhotoWorks 2 enabled in add-ins? I might be wrong, but if I
    remember correctly, SolidWorks communicates with PhotoWorks 2 via TCP port,
    which may give an illusion that SW is trying to reach internet.

    You have the Performance Email turned on Probably.

    Its located in your Tools\Options\System options General (I believe).
