    Hello All!!!

I'm disabled and for me is very hard to draw clouds with normal
    clouds routines.
Someone knows if there exist a routine who starting from a
rectangle or square, transform it in a cloud?.
    I use acad 2K.

    Thanks in advance.

  2. A simple way to do this might be to use a 'wavy' or 'cloud' linetype. I
don't think you'll need a LISP for that. If you go to my linetypes web page
there is enough info there to get one working for you.

    Hello Michael!!!

I guess your idea won't work in my case....
I work for several clients who only have standart Autocad
lines in their computers, then they won't "see" clouds
done whith out of standart Autocad lines.
    I'm correct?.

  6. You do have to load the line and the shape on a computer for it to work.
This isn't too hard as separate linetype and shape files are pretty small,
and the load is a two step process.

    Michael,

I have received drawings with specialized linetypes and I can see them.
I can't use them, but they do show up. I can use them to match
properties on another item. Wouldn't the OP's "clouds" be visible
within his/her own drawing to the client? Am I misunderstanding what
    you have stated?

BTW: Whoever mentioned that "group" filters were the culprit in slowing
Autcad layer dialog box was entirely correct and has become my new hero.
    I re-opened a "pain-in-the-behind" monstrous drawing and waited 4 1/2
minutes for the layer dialog box to load. Then I deleted all of the
group filters and voila! Drawing size dropped from 4MB to less than 1MB
and all is right with the world.

  8. What kind of linetypes? "Complex linetypes"? That's what we were talking
    about.

(Simple linetypes are just made out of straight segments and dots. Complex
ones have SHAPEs or text in them.)

When you say you "can't use them" do you mean you can't make them the
    current linetype?

I think Paul Turvill has a routine on his site to extract a linetype
definition from a line used in a drawing, IINM.
