Help with a lisp - please.

I don't know too much about writing lisps - but I can ussually look at a few
examples of something and edit it so that it works like I want. With that
said.

How would one write a lisp routine that looks at a drawing and and selects
ALL entities on any layer that has the color set to, lets say magenta and
then moves all those entities to a new layer named LW-Magenta? Whether the
color is forced to magenta, or it's set to by layer and on a layer that has
it's color set to magenta - doesn't matter. I want everything magenta - no
matter how it's magenta - moved.

Could someones get me started?

I would really appreciate the help!
