Our firm has encoutered the weirdest problem ever. We are using in several computers R14 and plotting with a HPGL/2-650c and HPGL/2-750c plotters. At first, we found random lines and texts were plotted in either too thick or too thin line widths. The files and I mean ALL files were visually checked for possible human errors. None were found. We uninstalled AutoCAD and deleted all remaining directories and drivers. The problem would go away for a day or two and then return. Has anyone encounter such a problem? Does anyone have an idea what kind of solution is at hand?

one of our staff has this problem with his machine. A quicker solution is to copy a new plot style from someone else. This only works for a day or two but it's quicker than reinstalling AutoCAD.

Thanks for the suggestion but let us try to find a better and permanent solution. I will of course be happy to share my findings with your staff member.
