I just installed ACAD 2004 on my computer and it will suddenly reboot the
computer during a work session and states that it was to protect the
computer from damage. This usually happens when I am streaming a radio
station. My computer is a Gateway 1.50Ghz, 256 RAM running WindowsXP for
home (Have updated with the windows service pack 2). I have installed
    AutoDesk's service pack 1a.

Anyone know why this is happening and how to prevent it? Thanks.

  2. Norton has a history of having conflicts with ACAD....check the AutoDesk
website for fixes, sorry I don't remember the exact file name to download
    that will fix that.

If you do not have Norton on your computer, then I have no idea, as to what
    may be causing it.

Contact your reseller, he/she should be able to help.

  3. 256 is not a lot of RAM for XP and 2004.

I agree I had problems running Acad 2004 with 256MB and a couple of TSR
programs once I put in another 256MB it was OK
