HELP: nothing can be selected

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Nicolas Nickisch, Apr 29, 2007.

  1. Hi NG,
    something happened with my drawing.

I can't select no objects any more in my drawing.
Also I can't pan (with teh window scroll bar) and I can't zoom.

Re-Opening the drawing didn't change anything.

Maybe I have done something wrong - but waht ?

    Greetings Nico

  2. Update:
There are objects in the drawing visible.
I can draw new ones and select them.

Without drawing anything new, I get a message when trying to quick select:
" there are no objects to select in this drawing" (original message is in
    german)

May be I locked something - but how ?

  3. For the panning problem, try setting VIEWRES to 20000.
For the other, try the MSPACE and PSPACE commands, and report back if
    anything happens.

  4. None of these commands work. They are all unknown.

Maybe they have other names in german ?

  6. I found a webpage with corresponding foreign-language command names.
    It works now again.
But I have no idea how this happend

    Greetings

  7. Did it work because of what I told you, or is it a mystery?

  8. With the german commands it worked, they were accepted.

I got messages "already in model range" (german of course), for both
    commands.

    thank you
