Help deleting layers

    Hi all,
    I need some help deleting a couple of layers. I coped a drawing into mine
    and I can't delete 2 layers. I locked and turned off all other layers and
    deleted everything left on the page. Then I purged the drawing and the
    layers are still there. I tried deleting the layers in the layers
    Properties Manager and it wouldn't delete the 2 layers saying that there is
    something still on the layers. I checked to see if something was xref'ed
    and nothing. Some help would be appreciated.
