Even fresh installed windows XP of my notebook drive. I can't install SW2004
or 2001plus successfully (my company have these two only). But on 3 desktop
PCs at my office are everything ok. Who have these experience? I can't work
    on my business trip. >_<

A bit more info might help, like error messages etc

    Error message is...
"This version of SolidWorks has not been comissioned properly, please
    contact your supplier."
My company IT people told me that vendor said SW can't used for mobile PIII
notebook. They would plan a budget for another CAD on next financial year.
    ( After June 2004... >_< )

It sounds like the laptop has not got a video card capable of openGL
support, this is only a guess.
I had this with a compaq deskpro P3 and after installing another graphics
card, disabling power saving, hibernation and bios virus detection, it
    worked!

The only other time I have seen this message was when a dodgy serial number
    was used ;-|

(Yes I do have a REAL paid for, number, but I wanted to see if the dodgy
numbers worked or not! :) ) do not ask, I will not give the Magic numbers
unless you send Solidworks the equivalent full cost of the software.thereby
getting a fully licensed version! boom boom!

    You can't fix stupid!

    Thank you.

Its licensed. My company have $, but not me! >.<
Hope they employ some better IT staff.
    Else, paid me more.
