Installed AutoCAD 2004 on Windows 2000 Advanced Server (MSIE 6.0 SP1). The
setup finished successfully, but after that when I start up the application,
nothing shows up. I restarted, turned off and turned on the computer,
still the same thing. The CDAC11BA.EXE service is up running, I copied the
licpath.lic license.lic to AutoCAD directory. When I click on AutoCAD icon,
acad.exe and ~e5d141.tmp appeared in the processes list for a second or two,
then they disappear and nothing happens. Therefore I haven't got a chance
    to run authorization wizard.

Someone experienced similar problem or has some clues? Any help is welcomed.

  2. May be you must wait a few minutes, then will AutoCAD start. To
    avoid this problem try this:

    1) go to control panel
    2) open internet options.
    3) in Advanced tab look for Security section.
    4) uncheck the "Check for publisher's certificate revocation.

Tried that, still no luck :(

It's not how long I wait (nothing happened for hours), the two processes
simply terminated themselves. I check the ~e5d141.tmp file, it's actually
an executable by Macrovision, with internal name "Clean up". I don't know
what it does, but seems to be license related. However, if it's license
problem, at least it should prompt an error message!
