Help a NEWBIE with the Revolve Command

    "Unable to revolve the selected object"
    What are the reasons for this message, can someone tell me? This is a
    simple little image that I have created and turned into a Polyline. The
    word "Region" keeps popping up, am I missing something here? Am I
    supposed to change the image into a region, and if so how is this
    accomplished?

    How simple is "simple"? Is the polyline closed? Does it not cross itself?

    You should be able to revolve a closed polyline that doesn't cross itself.
    Otherwise, you may have to break your "image" into more than one object.
