Does anybody have any Heat Pump Dwgs (Trane Carrier etc.) that they could
share..I have already done the google search for the last 20 minutes and
have come up empty..So if any body has some I would appreciate if you could
either post them or send them to me directly

    Thanks

If you go to Trane's web site www.trane.com and go to there equipment
section, they have cad files on their heat pumps ready to download. I'm sure
    Carrier does the same..............

Have you got air conditioning? If so, then you have a unit outside and it is
called a "condensing unit". A heat pump is different ONLY is how the compressor
works - the condensing units for typical standard air conditioning and heat
pumps is roughly the same. Same outside configuration, i.e., height, length and
width (usually square). Both types do essentially the same thing, so there
would be no difference - the only differences would be the size of the
condensing units as far as tonnage is concerned. This means, a 1T unit would be
small, a 2T slightly larger, a 3T larger yet, etc.
At one time I owned an air conditioning service company.

Likewise. Every time I look there, there are no CAD libraries for the
products I'm seeking. After 20 years of this, when are the mfgrs going to
    get on the ball???

  12. This is one thing I stress to any factory reps., sales reps., distributors,
manufacturers is that having downloadable data, selection tools, etc... that
is easy to use/find is key to being able to spec in or use their products.
