Have you guys tried Manifold GIS?

    hi
    i am a long time geospatial consultant.
    i have a user of both microstation & esri products for a long time.
    unfortunately their prices keep on going up and up.
    the companies that i work with always insist on using these expensive
    products because they say it is the "best" in the industry.
    forr me i could not afford to buy a single license on my own.
    but i have to keep on studying and improving my wares if i expect
    to keep on working in this field.
    recently i cam across a gis software manifold gis (www.manifold.net)
    that cost roughly $300.
    it is a wonderful product. it has many modules that are sold separately
    in esri/bentley product.
    it has made my job a lot easier because of this.
    try it.
