Has anyone received their 2004 CDs?

    Yes, I've had mine since Monday. Seeing as how I'm not exactly missing any
    functionality, that is there is nothing offered in 2004 that I 'gotta have',
    I put the entire package into the bottom of one of my desk drawers. I'll
    probably load it up sometime in January or as after SP1.0 comes out,
    whichever comes last.

    Seriously, I can't see WHY anyone would install the first release of any
    software as complex as SW. I've been using SW since 1997, and every new
    release has it's problems. SW'98 wasn't too bad and SW2001+ was rock solid.
    Since then each release has been anywhere from so-so (SW2003) to very poor
    (SW2002). So my advice to you: if you don't absolutely need something
    that's offered in SW2004, let the CD ROMS serve as ballast in your desk
    drawer for a while.
