Has any one tried a 7600 GS graphic card?

    I can find a card with the 7100GS on the approved list but not the
    7600GS. The local retailer tells me that the 7600GS is faster and not
    that much more money? Has anyone tried the 7600GS?

    I'm using one @ 256 meg without problems. Then again I dont do a lot of
    very complex assemblies.

    Did you "softquadro" it?
    Just checking in case it still works on latest chips...

    I've heard of it but neer bothered to do it. I am wondering what I would

    Softquadro enables functions that prevents severe slowdowns when a lot of
    windows are opened. That's how much precision I can tell. Used it for a
    couple of years on geforce 2's with no pb, and it did work. That was before
    we changed our machines, 2 years ago.

    .... I believe it is also used to overclock the chip and the ram on the video
    card...
