    What is the ideal hardware setup for running a ACAD 2005 and 3dsmax 6 setup?

    Ideal? Dual CPUs, a high end graphics card, two SATA (serial ATA) hard
    drives with support for RAID, and a Gig of RAM.

    If you get the TV out feature on the graphics card, you can use one of those
    huge plasma screens too!
