Grouped Blocks ??

Maybe someone can help me.
Hopefully I'm on the correct group.

I've just re-installed 2002 onto a new machine.
Everything seems to be working fine, apart from....

I have several lisp routines which insert 3d objects when requested. I am prompted for the x, y & z dimensions of the objects as they are generated into the drawing.
These are working ok.
However, if I generate a number of objects one after another, they become grouped. If I try to select 1 object, the other objects are selected automatically. I have to explode to enable me to move the objects individually (once, if I have 2 objects, twice if I have 3 objects etc..).

Also, the Autocad text window appears each time whenever I initiate the routine (this didn't happen before).
Can anyone suggest anything?
(The lisp routines are encoded).
