What's the best grid control to use with:
    AutoCAD 2002

When I use MSDatgrd.ocx I receive an message stating that the control is not properly licensed - after researching I download vbcli5.exe from microsoft - It doesn't fix the prob. I tried vbclie6.exe it states that I it could not detect VB6.

  2. What are you developing with? It sounds like vba, in which case you
cannot use the standard grid controls based upon Microsoft's EULA.
Search the web for replacement grid controls - one is cadgrid.

  3. CadGrid draw grids in documents. I think the OP is looking for a grid
control to use in his application.

That's a pretty simple grid control.

You may want to check out Spread. They have it for COM and .NET.
    http://www.fpoint.com/

Here is a video of it's features
    ftp://ftp.fpoint.com/Spread6/featureoverview.zip

I think I am going to replace my datawidgets one with it.

Watch out for formula one, as it requires a $100.00 royalty per seat. Both
Spread and F1 have all the functionally of excel built right in and can be
bound to a database, an array in memory or can be used by themselves.

not properly licensed - after researching I download vbcli5.exe from
