    Hello,

I am new in the area of 3D drawing. I would like to use snap and grid
in the z-coordinate the same way I use it in the xy plane. The commands
snap and grid do not appear to have the desirable result.

Any advice how to do it?

    Thanks, Geo2000

Use the 'view' button bar to change to the 'front' view.

This rotates the co-ordinate system by 90° through the origin. The X-Y
plane will occupy the previous X-Z plane.

Grid and Snap should work fine in this plane.

Go to the 'top' view to return.

Thanks a lot Aled! That was exactly what I was looking for.
