Hi there, which kind of graphics card do you suggest to a new Autocad user?

    Thanks

  2. Because AC is a 2D software: nothing special

A cheap NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 is sufficient, don't buy an expensive
CAD card as e.g a Quadro or FireGL etc. which is unneeded because the
extended 3D OpenGL support isn't required (besides the Orbit..).

If a bigger, analog CRT should be used or a Dual Monitor support is
desired check the Matrox cards as e.g. the Millennium G550.
