ghost lines

  1. HELP PLEASE:
I'm new to this forum thing and hope someone can help me.
We have 6 copies of AutoCAD 2000 lt and 5 of them print ghost lines the best
example I can give is if you draw a rectangle or a closed polyline and trim
away a section, the section that was trimmed will still be plotted any way
even though it is not on the screen. As a note all layers are on and
unaltered and also if I print the same drawing from my copy of AutoCAD 2000
lt the lines are not there. Is this a setting every one else has on there
    systems that I
    don't?
    Has anyone had this problem?
