GetPoint in different layout

    I am summarizing info from objects enclosed by a pline. The info goes
    inan Mtext object. But that Mtext object needs to be placed in one of
    several different ps layouts. I used GetPoint to prompt for a location
    when inserting it into MS but when I change layouts, GetPoint throws an
    error. How can I allow the user to change layouts after I request a
    point? I don't know which layout they are going to choose. Maybe I need
    to ask the user which layout.....
    Ideas?

    Put the layout names into a listbox and ask the user to select which one.
    Then set that one current before prompting for the insertion point.....
