get system variable

    Hi,
    I am trying to get the TFINDWG system varialbe though VBA and I have already tryed
    Get variable thisdrawing.GetVariable("USERR1")
    But it does not work...does anyone knows how does it work?

    do you perhaps mean...
    ThisDrawing.GetVariable("Tdindwg")
    ?

    What does that line return for you?
    What version of acad has that variable name?

    If it's a new drawing, it hasn't been set.
    Do a save, and try again.

    and BTW, the var name is TDINDWG
