Get ATTDISP setting?

    I want to have some code toggle ATTDISP between NORMAL and ON, but because
    ATTDISP is a command, not a sysvar, I don't seem to be able to see what the
    current setting is to know what to toggle to. Am I missing something really
    fundamental here, and will have to say 'DOH!" when someone points it out?

    Maybe you are looking for the ATTMODE system variable.
